Hey party people! Welcome back to TSP 🙂 My monthly playlists are what I listen to on a daily basis, and my days consist of trying to find the best tracks for you guys.
My favorite part of having this blog is helping you find the best music that is going to fuel your days. I enjoy finding music that makes other people happy (as well as makes me happy).
I’ve been working on my February playlist all month, and now it is finally released! Below I have some must-hear highlights for you.
I hope you enjoy!
Blue Skies (REVOKE Remix) – Lenka
A great trap song to start off the list. This one is more mellow as far as trap goes!
I had never heard of either of these artists before this song, but definitely made it a point to check out more of their stuff afterwards.
Listen below and let me know what you think!
Caught in the Act – Nora en Pure
I seriously am loving Nora these days.
She has been coming out with some new stuff, and it’s funky. It’s the kind of house music that I adore.
This song has some nice violin vibes in the background, but you will want to get up and dance.
This might take the cake for my favorite Nora song (well besides “Come with Me”).
Crzy (feat. Alexandra Rotan) – Melf
This song has a sexy, trap, electronic vibe to it (basically the three best elements to a song, right?).
The vocals are superb, and there’s a great build to every chorus.
See what I mean below!
Love Me – Jane XO
Going to be honest with you here: I was not a fan of this song when I first heard it.
I must have been in a music funk, because I thought it sounded like every other Indie Electronic song at that time.
Switching gears, I listened to it again (I think it came up on a random Spotify playlist) and I changed my mind.
I love her voice most of all, and I took the time to listen to the words.
Also, the drop is really fun to gig to. I really want this to be played at a music festival so I can dance it out.
It Ain’t Me – Kygo
Featuring Selena Gomez on vocals, this is a song you could point out from a mile away. It is typical Kygo sound.
The song is contradicting, since the melody sounds very hopeful and happy, but the lyrics say otherwise. It’s about the female leaving her significant other because of his going out every night.
She’s hopeful because she won’t have to deal with taking care any longer. I really liked this song immediately when I heard it. I know you guys will too!
Get your fix of this song before it gets overplayed on the radio 🙂
BDY – Stalgia (Joe Mason Remix)
YOU GUYS. This. Song. Is. Amazing. I already posted about it on my Instagram, but it had to be included in my Feb playlist because I’ve listened to it so many times this month.
It is a recent release by Joe Mason. I’ve raved about Joe Mason before, because he seriously can do no wrong. The first song I heard by him was his Inside Out remix.
This song is perfection. As is all of his other remixes. Have a listen below!
All Night – LESSI
“All Night” has major Nora en Pure vibes. Namely, the first riff of the piano at the beginning of this deep house track.
The vocals feature a soulful female vocalist, who really adds a lot to the song.
I recommend this song if you’re looking for a mellow deep house song to add to your dance party playlist.
Bad and Boujee – ZHU x Migos
ZHU is back again! THANK GOD, am I right?! Looking back, Generationwhy didn’t come out that long ago, but it’s felt like ages.
I just love ZHU’s music so much. It’s got great musical additions in every song, like the piano or sax, and every song is produced beautifully.
Another great thing is that you can spot ZHU’s style from a mile away, but then he goes and switches it on you, like this remix. There are hints of ZHU, but it’s different than any of his other remixes.
What a talented dude.
BONUS: Holy Ship ’17 B2B
Okay. This B2B is INSANE. It includes:
- Louis the Child
- Jai Wolf
- Big Gigantic
- Manila Killa
I’ll let you listen for yourself, but just know there are some serious eclectic sounds going on here. There are tons of throwbacks, dubstep, house: basically something for everyone.
It’s long, but well worth it. Fuel your workday with this hour and 45 minute set; you won’t regret it.
Here is the full playlist for you! Let me know what you think, and make sure to like the playlist on Soundcloud, or repost!
It is also on Spotify, if you want to follow me there!
